European Fellowship on Youth Leadership (EFYL) is a complex programme of youth leadership initiated by GEYC in 2017, under the aegis of PRISMA European Network. 27 youth workers from 9 countries took part in a training course in the Czech Republic on the topic of social entrepreneurship and digital skills.

Youth Exchange: [FR-235] Are we equal? Gender equality in action, 02.03.2019-10.03.2019, La Vancelle, France

The Project “Are we equal? Gender equality in action” held in La Vancelle, France during the International Women’s week was had the objective of stimulating and advancing gender equality for 30 young Europeans from 5 different countries, in an intercultural and safe environment and to create the basis for further initiatives and cooperation in the field of creative work and human rights.

How many young people are needed to generate business ideas that can solve current environmental problems of our society? The Youth Ecopreneurship Sprint youth exchange, hosted by our partners Ekonomska klinika, is proof that it takes less than one week and a group of driven young people gathered in an international environment to work towards a sustainable future. Have you ever wondered what is a business incubator? We had the opportunity to visit one in Valmiera and to find out that a business incubator is a company that helps new and startup companies to develop by providing services (such as management training or office space). In the project "Business to business", we were able to create work plans and to develop ideas from scratch.

Not many of us can say that, one day, they had the courage to say "Yes, I'm going to leave my country and volunteer abroad!". Because there's a lot of thought that goes into a decision like that. Between 2nd and 10th of March 2019, 6 members of the GEYC Community participated in the Youth Exchange "Are we equal ? Gender equality in action" in La Vancelle, France, which aimed to provide tools for European youth to understand and express through arts, the dialogue about gender equality.

The results of the long-term Training Course -„LET (LearnEducateTeach) meTRY”, Wisła, Poland

In February of 2018, Andreea and Alexandru embarked on an adventure to learn more about the role of a youth worker, non-formal education and to gain key competencies related to conflict management and problem solving. RefugeE++: communication techniques for refugees projects

As the issue of refugees/migrants has become one of the main global and European challenges and efficient communication on such a hot topic is a difficult task, RefugeE++ is a 7-day youth workers mobility, involving 13 partner organizations and 30 youth workers, aiming to create for youth workers from participant organizations, a professional intercultural space to develop competences, share best practices and network, regarding how to efficiently communicate, make visible and disseminate results of E+ projects dealing with refugees/migrants issues, both online and offline. The project is a follow-up of RefugE+ project, a 6-day-mobility for youth workers under E+, KA1, which aimed to train youth workers in the project management field and raise their awareness on the refugee/migrants topic.

TC "Glamorize with NFL - Non-formal Learning", Ankara, Turcia

Între 7 și 15 iulie, Iulian Lercă și Simion Strugar au participat la proiectul “Glamorize with NFL” organizat de asociația “Aktif-Iz” in Ankara, Turcia, ca reprezentanți GEYC.

Call for participants - TC "The peace pilgrimage", 04.09.2018-12.09.2018, Lugo to Santiago de Compostela, Spain

The training course will take the format of a 100km hike-pilgrimage using what is known as the first European Cultural itinerary, the Camino of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, while exploring the power of inner peace through meditation for youth workers.

EVS "Volunteers 4 Tolerance ", 15.05.2018-14.06.2018, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria

The EVS "Volunteers 4 Tolerance " which took place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, from 15th of May to 14th of June involved 28 volunteers from Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Romania, Spain and Turkey and was hosted by our partners from Alternativi International.

TC, FACE 2.0, Beja, Portugal

For a couple of days in April (17.04.2018-24.04.2018), Beja was the home to a life changing experience for Tudor and Iulia. A training course aiming to encourage personal development in areas of public speaking, teamwork, intercultural communication, facilitation and workshop delivery, managed to make a real difference in the life of the participants.

TC - "Women Get Back", Malaga, Spain

Women Get Back – experiencing women entrepreneurship activities under the warm sun of Torremolinos-Malaga, Spain. Iuliana and Andreea, two active youth workers and proud geyculeți took the trip from Bucharest to the sunny Torremolinos-Malaga, Spain, for Women Get Back, a training course about women empowerment in entrepreneurship, organized by Projuven Association, beween 10th and 17th of May. 

Youth Exchange: [BG-160] InforMigration, Bansko, Bulgaria

Six enthusiastic GEYCuleți spent about a week in the one of the largest winter resorts of Bulgaria, attending a training course about topics related to migration, refugees, hate speech and human rights. They got the chance to learn the processes, reasons and effects of migration, about climate change and its social, economic, political and environmental consequences and at the end were left with one of the most exciting stories to tell.

TC - "Englishman in Youth Work", Poronin, Poland

The TC "Englishman in Youth Work" was an international project attended by over 20 participants sent by partner organizations from Poland, Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania and Italy. The Romanian team was represented by two people sent by GEYC after a careful evaluation process.
