EVS: A promised rose garden, 03.05.2019-02.06.2019, Agros, Cyprus

Not many of us can say that, one day, they had the courage to say "Yes, I'm going to leave my country and volunteer abroad!". Because there's a lot of thought that goes into a decision like that. The EVS "Volunteers 4 Tolerance " which took place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, from 15th of May to 14th of June involved 28 volunteers from Armenia, Georgia, Italy, Romania, Spain and Turkey and was hosted by our partners from Alternativi International.

Good practice: using theatre for social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities

Our volunteer, Andreea Lupu was hosted by Denizli Municipality during a 2 months Short-Term EVS (European Voluntary Service) in November-December 2017 in Denizli, Turkey. 
She had the chance to improve and share her artistic skills with the local young people and she will share some techniques with us that might be useful for your work.

Annual Report/ Raport anual GEYC 2013

GEYC is proudly presenting our annual report for 2013 including the major achievements, partners and cooperation we had. We believe that being transparent towards the community should be one of the very basic principles of each sustainable and reliable organisation.

GEYC are plăcerea de a vă prezenta raportul de activitate pentru anul 2013 cuprinzând aici cele mai importante realizări, partenerii care ne-au fost alături și cooperările pe care le-am avut. Credem că a fi transparent față de comunitate ar trebui să fie unul dintre principiile de bază ale oricărei organizații sustenabile și de încredere.

Happening in Romania: More than 200 teachers take a volunteer engagement to promote digital competencies as a way to tackle youth unemployment

As part of SMYLE European project, GEYC has invited Romanian teachers to set up seminars and campaigns at local level in order to raise awareness among young people (13-30) and other stakeholders regarding the critical importance of digital skills to smooth the path to the labour market.
