GEYC gained the Quality Label for volunteering from the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) valid until 2027. The label proves an organization is capable of providing adequate conditions for youth participating in a solidarity project. GEYC is now qualified to send and host volunteers, until now our organization was only sending young people from Romania in ESC projects, from now on we are excited to also host international volunteers.
Starting with 2022, our organization will host over 15 volunteers from the EU and non-EU countries in Bucharest Romania, through the programme European Solidarity Corps. The activities will be held in Bucharest and in Campina. We will have the following activities:
- Eco Club, 3-4 months,
- Activism Collectors,
- GEYC Community Days,
- New Media Ambassadors.
The activities in Campina (Prahova) are done based on the partnership agreement between GEYC and Campina Municipality called "Pentru Câmpina Europeană" (For a European Campina).
