Today we are celebrating 2 years of implementation of our Strategic Cooperation Programme "Support Moldova" (2016-2018) and we have published an intermediary progress report.

#SupportMoldova - 1 year of implementation report / bilanț la un an de implementare

EN: It is our pleasure to present the achievement of "Support Moldova" Strategic Cooperation Programme (2016-2018) after one year of implementation. We are glad that we had the chance to start our involvement in the Republic of Moldova and thus to support the young people and youth organisations from there.

RO: Este plăcerea noastră să prezentăm realizarea Programului de cooperare strategică "Support Moldova" (2016-2018) după un an de implementare. Ne bucurăm că am avut șansa de a începe să ne implicăm în Republica Moldova și, astfel, să sprijinim tinerii și organizațiile de tineret de acolo.

Good practice: using theatre for social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities

Our volunteer, Andreea Lupu was hosted by Denizli Municipality during a 2 months Short-Term EVS (European Voluntary Service) in November-December 2017 in Denizli, Turkey. 

She had the chance to improve and share her artistic skills with the local young people and she will share some techniques with us that might be useful for your work.

#SupportMoldova: first 4 months of achievements

Today, 27th of March we celebrate 99 years since Basarabia (currently Republic of Moldova) decided to unite with the mother country - Romania. To this extent, GEYC publishes its activity report for the first 4 months of implementation of the Strategic Cooperation Programme "Support Moldova" (2016-2018) launched on 31st of August 2016.

Erasmus+ KA1 – Gadget Addiction in Teenage

GEYC took part in the Erasmus+ KA1 Mobility for youth workers project - "Gadget Addiction in Teeanage" (GATE, 2016-2-RO01-KA105-025019), financed by the European Commission and developed between September 2016 and March 2017.

Roma Young People workshop on political participation

On 18-20 December, GEYC participated at the Workshop on political participation organized by the Forum of European Roma Young People (FERYP) in Strasbourg, France.

Apel înscrieri la SMARTER Academy - Moldova (cursuri intensive de Project Management și Digital Marketing)

Peste 40 de tineri și reprezentanți ai ONG din Republica Moldova vor putea participa la cursul SMARTER Academy - Moldova organizat la Chișinău (octombrie - noiembrie 2016) de către GEYC și Invento, sub egida PRISMA European Network, cu sprijinul financiar al Guvernului României.

Amintiri din Estonia: ne-am bucurat când participanții din celelalte țări au cântat alături de noi versurile de la "O Zone- Dragostea din tei"

În perioada 11-18 septembrie 2016, 5 participanți din Comunitatea GEYC au înțeles că educația sexuală este ceva ce nu mai putem ignora. Peste 30.000 de fete minore rămân însărcinate anual în România (sursa).  De aceea, cursul de formare „From experts to sexperts” din Estonia s-a dovedit a fi o bună oportunitate de a trage un semnal de alarmă în această direcție.

Autoritățile publice din Republica Moldova sunt instruite despre atragerea fondurilor europene

Centrul de Drept și Inițiative Democratice (CDID) - partener oficial al Programului de Cooperare Strategică ”Support Moldova” (2016-2018), în urma lansării primului portal on-line de accesare a fondurilor europene disponibile pentru localitățile din Republica Moldova și România - www.accesfonduri.eu, a demarat programul de instruire și informare asupra instrumentelor financiare disponibile autorităților publice locale din Republica Moldova.

EQYP Survey on Quality (ESOQ) - Have your say by 10th of September 2016

EQYP Survey on Quality (ESOQ) is a study made in the frame of EQYP - European Quality in Youth projects aiming to illustrate different views related to the quality of youth projects. Deadline to contribute: 10th of September 2016. The results will be made available online by the end of September 2016.

Time to have an entrepreneurial entry

Erasmus+ has connected until now over 500.000 of young people into volunteering programs and youth exchanges. They have had the opportunity to gain new information and to discover new sides of the world. But let`s see how a youth exchange can be for someone who has had experienced it, for participants. From 1st to 8th of August 2016, we have participated to "Entrepreneurial entry" youth exchange in Trnava, Slovakia.

Înscrie-te la workshop-ul European Mobility, ed. a 14-a, București, 5 iulie 2016

Pe 5 iulie 2016, GEYC te provoacă să iei parte la cea de-a 14-a ediție a evenimentului European Mobility. Activitatea îți va prezenta cum poți lua parte la oportunitățile aduse de programul Erasmus+, să călătorești, să înveți și să te descoperi în cadrul Uniunii Europene, în special Serviciul European de Voluntariat (SEV). Activitatea reprezintă o diseminare de rezultate a proiectului Erasmus+ EQYP.  Participarea este gratuită. Locuri limitate. Înscrieri până pe 1 iulie 2016.

Training for trainers: an intensive learning experience in Sweden

“Good learning never stops with the end of training course. It only begins then.”

Between 9th of May and 17th of May, GEYC took part in “T4T - Training for trainers” Erasmus+ Training Course held in Gothenburg, Sweden. The aim of the project was to train youth workers to become trainers and provide them with the theory, skills and tools necessary to design, implement and evaluate effective training programs in order to generate optimum learning outcomes and improved performance.

Charlemagne Youth Prize [9th edition]

This week, we have been invited by the European Parliament to take part to the ninth edition of Charlemagne Youth Prize Ceremony - an annual youth contest awarded in Aachen, Germany.

Call for 6 Romanian participants: Youth Exchange in Paralimni, Cyprus (12-20 December 2016)

GEYC is selecting 6 Romanian participants, to take part in "I can" European project that will take place in Paralimni, Cyprus between 12-20 December 2016. The main aim of this youth exchange is to to show that all people are capable of participating in sports and that by encouraging people to participate and at least try we can give young people the opportunities to find a sports that is right for them.
