Call for partners - SMYLE (YiA, 1.1) - a youth exchange on youth employment through new media skills

GEYC is looking for partners coming from Program countries in order to apply at 01/05 deadline for ”S.M.Y.L.E. – Social Media & Youth - Learning for Employment”, a ”Youth in action” youth exchange (1.1) organized in Bucharest, Romania, between 6-14 October 2013. The project aims to raise youth employability in the context of using new media technologies (social media and multimedia).

Young People are Creating Their Future- Youth Exchange in Corsica

Between 23rd of June and 2nd of July five of our inspiring Geyculeți: Alin, Ilinca, Mădălina, Robert and Georgiana started their journey towards Corsica at an Youth Exchange on digital marketing and advertising, with a special focus on ethics in the digital world and NGO strategies in this regard.

EQYP: Project description

"European Quality in Youth Projects (EQYP)" is a mobility of youth workers under Erasmus+ (Eastern Partnership), KA1, Youth aimed to train youth workers in the quality management field and to develop a quality standard for youth projects (called "EQYP"). The project will include a training course aimed to tackle the main fields of focus regarding youth project quality and a seminar during which a European Quality Standard will be created. The project is implemented by 11 organisations leaded by GEYC and is co-financed by the European Commission through Erasmus+ programme.

SMARTER project -
Social Media Academy: Raising Teen Employability Resources


Social Media Academy: Raising Teen Employability Resources (SMARTER) is an intensive 9 days training course for 34 participants from 14 countries (Romania, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Cyprus, Malta, Greece, Croatia, Lithuania, Iceland and Turkey) and 16 organisations (non profit, bodies active at European level, informal groups). 
The project will take place in Bucharest, Romania from 22th to 31st of August 2014.

Connecting the dots: Young People, Social Inclusion and Digitalisation

This week, our colleague Gabriel Brezoiu - General Manager of GEYC takes part to the "Connecting the dots: Young People, Social Inclusion and Digitalisation" Symposium in Tallinn, Estonia focusing on exploring the crossing between social inclusion of young people and digitalisation, reflecting especially on how digitalisation affects young people’s lives, and what the role of youth policy, youth work and youth research can be in this respect.
