Erasmus+: Call for partners / Búsqueda de Socios - JUNTOS

ES: GEYC está buscando socios de América Latina para participar en JUNTOS, un Proyecto Juvenil de Fortalecimiento de Capacidades. La solicitud se presenta al programa Erasmus +, KA2, para la fecha límite del 2 de septiembre, con las actividades a ser implementadas a partir del 1 de marzo 2016.


EN: GEYC is looking for partners from Latin America for JUNTOS Youth Capacity Building Project. The application will be submitted under Erasmus+ program, KA2, for the 2nd of September deadline, for activities to be implemented starting 1st March 2016.



The project
JUNTOS (Jovenes Unidos a través de Nuevas Tecnologías para Oportunidades Sociales) project aims to raise the capacities of youth workers from Partner Countries, enhancing project management skills through digital tools and fostering international collaboration.


Objectives:
- to raise the capacities of youth platforms and local, regional and national authorities dealing with youth in Partner Countries;
- to empower the participants in using social media tools to improve the quality and recognition of non-formal learning in Partner Countries and enhance their synergies and complementarities with other education systems, the labour market and society;
- to foster cooperation and exchanges in the field of youth work between Programme Countries and Partner Countries by expanding PRISMA European network in Latin America;
- to promote transnational non-formal learning mobility between Programme and Partner Countries;
- to promote the cooperation between youth organisations and organisations in the education and training fields as well as with representatives of business and labour market;


Main activities:
- preparation meeting (held in the country of one of the participating organizations);
- training course on the topic of project management and new media (8 days) for 20-30 participants (held in the country of one of the participating organizations);
- New Media Ambassadors (3 months) online practical training (special edition for Latin America, finalized with graduation event in the country of one of the participating organizations);
- job shadowing opportunity (1 month) for youth workers from partners’ organizations (held in Bucharest, with networking opportunities in other regions of Romania);
- 2nd edition of EDYS (held in the country of one of the paricipating organizations);
- closing and evaluation meeting (held in the country of one of the participating organizations);


Target group
Youth workers, project managers, youth leaders (over 18) from Partner countries from Region 8 (check the list). Partner organisation should be ready to to contribute actively to the preparation, implementation and evaluation of all activities mentioned above.


Eligible partner organisations (please do not apply if you are not established in one of these countries):
- a non-profit organisation, association, NGO from Partner countries - Region 8: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela;


The organizer


Group of the European Youth for Change - GEYC is a Romanian NGO whose mission is to empower young people to change their community. GEYC is coordinating PRISMA European Network and it is a member of Advisory Council on Youth of the Ministry of Youth and Sport (Romanian Government) as well as the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs (European Commission).  
  • Our Facebook page aims to be an informative portal for young people providing valuable content in the following fields: news, education, entrepreneurship, responsibility, human rights, Romanian culture and civilization, Culture and intercultural dialogue and entertainment.  
  • Partnerships: GEYC has a close partnership with the following public institutions: European Commission Representation in Romania, European Parliament Information Office in Romania, Ministry of Youth and Sport (Romanian Government), Bucharest City Hall and 1st District of Bucharest City Hall. 
  • GEYC launched and coordinates GEYC Resources Center, an online center of resources aimed to offer a wide variety of online free tools about multimedia and social media topics aimed to help both individuals and organizations in their work.

Financial aspects
GEYC with the financial support of the European Commission through Erasmus+ program will cover the following costs:
- food, accommodation and training activities (100%);
- transport costs will be reimbursed on a lump sum basis (check out the Programme guide for the exact amounts, page 166) - participants will need to advance the transport costs;
- costs related to capacity building activities will be covered 80% by the grant (20% shall be covered by the partner organisation);
The organizer will not require any participation fee for this project!

Step 2: Selected organisations will be required to sign a mandate by August 29th 2015 and provide extra information regarding their involvement into the project.

Incomplete applications can not be accepted.
