Youth Exchange: [HR-277] Youth Ecopreneurship Sprint, 23.06.2019-30.06.2019, Zagreb, Croatia

How many young people are needed to generate business ideas that can solve current environmental problems of our society? The Youth Ecopreneurship Sprint youth exchange, hosted by our partners Ekonomska klinika, is proof that it takes less than one week and a group of driven young people gathered in an international environment to work towards a sustainable future. Miruna, Iulian, Bianca, George, and Ioana are the members of the Romanian team that has taken part in this project between 23 June 2018 and 30 June 2019 in Zagreb, Croatia. What did they learn?

Youth Exchange: Business to business, 22.05.2019-29.05.2019, Valmiera, Latvia

Have you ever wondered what is a business incubator? We had the opportunity to visit one in Valmiera and to find out that a business incubator is a company that helps new and startup companies to develop by providing services (such as management training or office space). In the project "Business to business", we were able to create work plans and to develop ideas from scratch.

Training Course: ABCreativity, 20.01.2019-28.01.2019, Leszno, Poland

ABCreativity was a 7 days Training Course for beginners on the topic of creativity and innovation and how to use it in our local communities and in our NGOs reality. It took place in Leszno, Wielkopolska, Poland and gathered participants from 8 countries – Poland, Romania, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria, Spain and Czech Republic. The project was organized by our partners from Fundacja Arena i Świat.

Not many of us can say that, one day, they had the courage to say "Yes, I'm going to leave my country and volunteer abroad!". Because there's a lot of thought that goes into a decision like that. Între 13 și 21 mai 2019 a avut loc cursul de formare „Youth work - a path to peaceful societies” în Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, organizat de partenerii de la Alternativi International, care a abordat tema conflictelor dintre diferite grupuri ale societății și a modalităților de transformare a conflictelor prin acțiuni non-violente.

Between 2nd and 10th of March 2019, 6 members of the GEYC Community participated in the Youth Exchange "Are we equal ? Gender equality in action" in La Vancelle, France, which aimed to provide tools for European youth to understand and express through arts, the dialogue about gender equality.

#învizită „Cultural Mapping of Chișinău on Social Media”, Chișinău, Republica Moldova, 30 Noiembrie - 2 Decembrie 2018

Comunitatea GEYC a organizat o vizită de studiu în Chișinău, numită „Cultural Mapping of Chișinău on Social Media”, aceasta fiind cea de-a doua deplasare externă, în afara României, din cadrul programului #invizita. 12 tineri din România și Republica Moldova au luat parte la mobilitate, însoțiți de trei participanți ai programului EFYL, „European Fellowship on Youth Leadership” (Alina, Călin și Raluca).

You(th) lead: developing leadership skills throughout 1 week of non-formal education in Šibenik, Croatia

A seven day training course, named “You(th) lead”, was implemented in the city of Šibenik, Croatia. The project involved a total of 30 participants over the age of 21 from 9 different EU countries, the main activities taking place between the 22nd and the 28th of October 2018.

The mobilities of the KA2 project "International Youth Studies" - That's a wrap!

InYouS project, which started in April 2018, aims to ameliorate the recognition of youth work and non-formal education through development of certified “International youth studies” curricula (and organizing a distance-learning course for youth workers) and open educational materials for European Higher Education Institutions.

The results of the long-term Training Course -„LET (LearnEducateTeach) meTRY”, Wisła, Poland

In February of 2018, Andreea and Alexandru embarked on an adventure to learn more about the role of a youth worker, non-formal education and to gain key competencies related to conflict management and problem solving. This adventure, called „LET (LearnEducateTeach) meTRY”, came to an end in September. Read more about their experience below.

Call for participants - TC Hate speech fighters, 11.09.2018-18.09.2018, Bansko, Bulgaria

We are looking for 3 Romanian participants to take part in the Project ‘’Hate Speech Fighters’', a training course for youth workers involving 3 trainers and 30 youth workers from 10 countries in Europe and the Caucasus-Bulgaria ,Spain, Italy The Netherlands, Estonia, Romania, Lithuania, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

TC - FaciliTRAIN, 20th-28th of June 2018, Thessaloniki, Greece

During 20th and 28th of June, 4 young people from Romania took part in the "FaciliTRAIN" Training Course, which represented a learning environment focusing on learning by experience, reflection on the past activities of the participants, discussions about the key competencies of youth work and discovering training competencies and methodology.

Capacity Building and Evaluation Seminar - PRIDE: Promoting Diversity and Inclusive Youth Work Practices


The Long Term Training Course "Promoting Diversity and Inclusive Youth Work Practices" was intended for youth workers, youth trainers and facilitators who are ready to work on the topics of diversity, inclusion and anti-discrimination in order to activate the potential of diversity in trainings and work with young people both at National and the European levels.

YE - ”Coop'Action", 20.06.2018-30.06.2018, Bédeille, France

On the 20th of June 2018, 5 ambitious young people from Romania and Republic of Moldova (Roxi, Laszlo, Iulia, Andra and Catalin) met for the first time in the airport, while waiting for their flight. Still sleepy, but filled with enthusiasm, they didn’t know what to expect from such a project since neither of them had ever been involved in one.

TC - "No more time 4 hate", Málaga, Spain
