The main aim of this project that was to develop and strengthen leadership skills of youth workers and to create a strategy for attracting young people in the various youth organisations.
The achieved objectives of the project are:
- to identify key personal characteristics and qualities of effective leadership in youth organisations;
- to empower the participants with practical skills in building confidence and creative thinking;
- to empower the participants with practical skills in good communication, negotiation and decision making;
- to provide the participants with relevant tools for problem-solving, crisis management and change management;
- to gather the knowledge and experiences of the partner organisations and the knowledge and experiences gained through training;
- to create a strategy for attracting more young people to various youth organisations based on gathered knowledge and experiences;
- to promote key European values and opportunities for professional development through Erasmus+.
Topics like charactericstics and qualities of effective leadership, building confidence, creative thinking, decision making, crisis management, change management and problem solving were tackled during the project and there was also a lot of sharing of good practices and experiences between the partner organisations. Throughout the main activities, key European values and opportunities for professional development through Erasmus+ were promoted.
