Future Worlds Center is inviting youth from all over Europe to participate in a global initiative that aims to reinvent a new system of governance by proposing new and innovative actions. The initiative aims to engage youth in both physical and virtual meetings with the first physical meeting taking place in Cyprus in February 2016. În cadrul workshop-ului de debut al celei de-a treia ediții „Promotori pentru democrație europeană”, echipa GEYC a susținut o sesiune pe tema „Cum comunicăm pe rețele sociale?” menită să îi pregătească pe promotori să utilizeze eficient mijloacele digitale în realizarea activităților lor de comunicare europeană.

During the start workshop of the third edition of "Promoters for European Democracy", GEYC team led a session on "How to communicate in social media?" aiming to train the promoters in using efficiently digital means for their communication activities.

The aim of this initiative is building capacity of European youth workers in the field of new media communication.

On focus: youth projects quality [EQYP Seminar in Yerevan]

From 13th to 18th of September 2016, GEYC and "Education without Boundaries" will organize "EQYP - European Quality in Youth Projects" Seminar in Yerevan, Armenia. The activity is the second mobility of the EQYP project coordinated by GEYC with the financial support of the European Commission through Erasmus+ programme.

WFD2019: “Is Democracy in danger in the information age?”

This year edition of the World Forum for Democracy (WFD)
will be hosted in Strasbourg, France on 6-8 November 2019

Our colleague, Adelina DRAGOMIR will join as a speaker during LAB 1 Human 2.0 : Youth and Digital Empowerment of the World Forum for Democracy, hosted by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg between 6th and 8th November 2019.

Possible territories for a sustainable world

From 5th to 7th September 2011, GEYC participates to Encuentros Internacionales de Juventud (KBUNS 2011) in Gijon, Spain. On the round-table of Cabueñes will be raised issues such as environmental and social sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship in areas of employment, volunteering or new forms of participation and digital democracy. But there will be time for issues such as the way we keep interpersonal relations, education, participation, creative communication and new forms of expression of urban culture.
