EVS - "Youth4Sport2" Nicosia, Cipru

The European Voluntary Service, project Youth4Sport2, at Nautilos SAR in Nicosia, Cyprus represented a non-formal experience that allowed me to broaden my knowledge and share ideas about healthy lifestyle, sports and youth education. My mobility stage lasted 6 months, from May until October 2017. During this time I had the chance to be part of an adventurous journey in the easternmost part of Europe. 

"Creative Arts for Youth Participation", a youth exchange to remember in La Vancelle, France

Between October 30 and November 5, 2017, we spent an amazing time in a youth exchange that aimed to enhance our creativity, immerse in French culture and meet amazing people from 5 countries – Macedonia, France, Greece, Romania and Lithuania. 

Empowering civil society organizations to work with refugees

Over the past few years around 66 million people were forced to leave their home due to conflicts, wars, natural disasters and persecution - approximately one of every 113 people on the planet. Only in the first half of 2017, over 105.000 refugees and migrants arrived to Europe. After crossing international borders their future was unknown. Thus, there was a clear need of support and assistance to refugees and asylum- seekers so they adopt in the hosting countries and build their future.

YE- "Mindful Entrepreneurship", Rokiskis, Lituania

Schimbul de tineret ‘‘Mindful Entrepreneurship’’ a avut loc în perioada 20-28 Seprembrie 2017, în Rokișkis, Lituania. Proiectul a fost creat pentru a facilitate cooperarea și implementarea unei idei de business urmând 5 pași (Self-Assesment, Soft skills, Hard skills, Ideas development și Idea Validation). Tehnica de bază fiind Mindfulness.

EVS - Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria

Hello! Numele meu este Vancea Maria Dorina, dar prietenii îmi spun Dori. Sunt studentă in Cluj Napoca, la Facultatea de Studii Europene. Am 19 ani şi sunt fericită că am bifat încă un proiect într-o altă ţară. Deşi am participat în trecut la conferinţe şi la un curs de formare, ideea de a participa într-un EVS nu mi-a venit până în vară.

TC - "Inclusive Europe", Vilnius, Lituania

Pe data de 3 septembrie ne-am îmbarcat cu entuziasm în avionul ce ne va duce în îndepărtatul Vilnius, fiind curioşi şi nerăbdători să descoperim ce va urma. Prima zi petrecută în capitala Lituaniei a reprezentat o oportunitate de a vizita cele mai importante obiective şi de a ne familiariza cu oraşul, întrucât am participat într-un trasure hunt intercultural.

Ce a însemnat pentru participanți cursului de inițiere în limba arabă susținut de Lamia Ajala?

„Consider că experiența cursului de limba arabă trebuie povestită nu doar din pricina faptului că a avut un impact mare asupra oamenilor, aplicând peste 200 de persoane, ci datorită atmosferei, oamenilor pe care i-am cunoscut și informațiilor pe care le-am dobândit.

Japanese Culture in a Nutshell

Konichi wa! This is the first greeting phrase everyone hears getting out of the plane and stepping on the outlandish land of Nippon koku. A month has passed since my Japanese experience has finished and yet, it feels as it happened yesterday. Every day was a travel in time, from the Ancient Japanese culture to the present and future one. Thus, in what follows, the story will focus on the most memorable things it happened each day, from my personal perspective.
