New project: Let's take initiative for refugees

Mr Simion Strugar, a GEYC Community member and teacher at "George Coșbuc” National College from Năsăud, Romania will participate together with other 2 youth workers to "Take initiative for refugees" training course in Izmit, Kocaeli, Turkey from 25th of October to 3rd of November 2016.


Project activities: our work will involve active participation, group working, gaining the ability to provide effective and efficient learning and non-formal education techniques will be made using the methods of learning. These methods will contribute to the learning by living. In this sense, the project activities will involve a variety of energizer games, team building games, workshops and outdoor activities. A photo exhibition will be organized in the frame of the project in order to contribute to the social awareness on the topic.

At the end of the work, youth workers will gain knowledge, skills and competencies in various fields. On the long run, there will be a positive impact on both the refugees and the participating countries.



Today, the Executive Board of "George Coșbuc” National College from Năsăud, Romania decided to join as a partner of this project and to link and disseminate its results in the frame of "Put yourself in refugee's shoes" (2016-1-IT02-KA219-024266_5), Erasmus+, KA2 in the field of school education.
