Digital Youth Work - State of Play - Moving Forward [Dublin, 22-23 March 2023]

Our Head of Digital, Diana Ioniță, and the OMG Community Collaborator Cristina Bălăceanu participated in the Digital Youth Work - State of Play- Moving Forward Conference in Dublin, between 22-23 March, which brought together youth work stakeholders to experience results and learning obtained from the strategic National Agency cooperation on Digital Youth Work.

During two intensive days, they learnt the key findings of the project, and reflected on the recommendations and the possibilities to be integrated in our own youth work realities. The discussions focused on designing quality digital youth work opportunities for young people, the role of policies and EU programmes in quality development of digital youth work, competences, training and assessment of youth workers, digital transformation and future-focused development of youth work. Besides these, participants had the opportunity to exploring various transferable practices of digital youth work such as: citizen curation of cultural heritage (SPICE Project), virtual reality, audio technology, or youth engineering solutions (shared by Foróige), and the function of NFC tags (presented by Verke).
