This 3.1b Partnership Building Activity will bring 19 participants from program and neighbouring partner countries. 8 days activity will be implemented in Isparta/Turkey. In the project the participants will be able to identify the extent of the violence against women in society, to recognize different types of the violence and also experience a deeper level of understanding through cross cultural exchange. They will discuss about how to terminate violence against women in EU, focusing on the opportunities for young people and sharing best practices. We will analyze the situation of each participants' country and will present some local best practices in order to share and establish new project ideas. During workshops; participants will develop a greater awareness of the gender roles and the existing cultural understandings about men and women. In group works; they will experience working as teams and during the dramas and simulations; they will have opportunity to see the events from the opposite sex's point of view. This project will enable participants to demonstrate their countries' culture and conditions of gender by using the presentations and exhibitions. Furthermore it will make contributions for young people to be open minded, to respect each other and opposite sex, to discover different cultural and social realities, to provide mutual learning and to strengthen the identity of European Citizenship.
