πŸ’‘ About the Project

The AI Literacy for Inclusive Youth Participation project is an Erasmus+ Training Course for youth workers focused on strengthening digital youth work and AI literacy.

Young people’s participation and everyday communication increasingly happen online, while artificial intelligence is becoming part of the digital environment through the content they see, the feeds that rank it, and images and voices that can be convincingly fabricated. Youth workers therefore need practical skills and clear guidance to support young people in these spaces safely and inclusively.

The training addresses topics such as deepfakes and misinformation, online influence, ethics and bias, privacy, consent, safeguarding in digital and hybrid settings, and inclusive digital participation.

The course uses non-formal education, including tool labs, scenario simulations, practice case labs, co-creation sprints, micro-facilitation, reflection and peer learning. Participants will actively experience the methods rather than simply listen to lectures.

The aim is to strengthen the quality of digital youth work by equipping youth workers to support young people’s participation in AI-shaped online environments in a safe, ethical and inclusive way.

✨ Highlight: This project is hosted by Stichting Coconutwork and supported by the Erasmus+ Programme.
