October has been full of events related to rural entrepreneurship! From the third transnational meeting and the
blended mobility of young people taking place in Corconte, Spain, to the
Rural Heritage Week, we had shared and found lots of resources about the subject.
During the transnational project meeting (the 3rd one of the KA2 Erasmus+ project), a part of our team got a chance to work with partners from Associazione Joint Milano and Asociación Ser Joven on the next steps of the project while still being immersed in local culture, tackling impact, the need for a new occupational standard as a consultant for rural heritage and dissemination plans.
For the participants to the blended mobility of young people, the experience exceeded their expectations: from pottery and painting workshops (all with a historical purpose) to discussions about the valorization of the rural environment among young people, everything that happened there was productive. Young people from Italy, Spain and Romania went home with new knowledge and friends.

Promote rural heritage by youth workers (PRHBYW) addresses two of the six rural development priorities supported by ENRD (European Network for Rural Development, programming period 2014-2020): Knowledge Transfer and Innovation, and Social Inclusion and Economic Development. Nowadays, an increasing number of young people living in rural areas of Europe find themselves socially and civically marginalized, being also largely unaware of the international mobility opportunities offered by programs such as the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ where resources are offered for their professional and personal development.
The KA2 Erasmus+ project is an initiative of a consortium of four countries and five organizations: SER JOVEN, GEYC, JOINT, CANTABRURI and DIRAMARSI.
