Call for participants: Digital Youth Work Academy, innovative eLearning programme | DL: 20.08.2020



It is our pleasure to announce the call for participants for Digital Youth Work Academy - DigYouWork(A), an innovative eLearning programme organized between 14 September and 11 October 2020 by the Erasmus+ National Agency of Spain. Deadline to apply: 20.08.2020

Target group 
Youth workers, Youth leaders, Youth project managers from: 
  • Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme countries: Austria, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom; 
  • Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU: Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, KOSOVO * UN RESOLUTION, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine.

This is an extensive 4 weeks online training course aiming to explore several digital tools and strategies that youth workers can use in order to digitalise their work with and for young people. We will explore 5 fields in digital youth work: 
(1) reach out (how to better reach specific segments of target groups); 
(2) communication and promotion of youth work activities; 
(3) internal communication; 
(4) collaborative work and 
(5) promotion of youth e-participation. 

Aims 
  • Promoting, among youth workers, the European Digital Competence Framework (also known as DigComp), which offers a tool to improve citizen's digital competence; 
  • Training youth workers to use digital tools in their work within their organisations and with young people; 
  • Promoting digital youth work cooperation at the European level.
