Eco Echo Workshops shined bright at Salto Awards 2023

 

    GEYC was awarded at the SALTO Ceremony 2023 for the Eco Echo Workshops in the Environment & Fight Against Climate Change category!

    Back in October 2023, the ceremony took place within the Lublin Youth Triangle Event, hosted by SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus, organized in collaboration with the Erasmus+ National Agency in Poland and SALTO Participation & Information.

    The Eco Echo Workshops, conducted under the umbrella of GEYC, reached 10 high schools. In doing so, over 1500 high school students learned about environmental challenges and awareness raising on environmental issues.

    As a result, the Eco Echo Workshops project was nominated for the Environment & Fight Against Climate Change category, and, at the award ceremony in Lublin, the project was announced the winner!

   We did not stop there! During the 18th of November and 17th of December 2023, the Eco Echo Workshops expanded, reaching schools and communities in Morocco where the volunteers held workshops for youngsters and children in schools about different topics, under the umbrella of sustainability. We look into the future, to expand our knowledge and methodology even further!
