The NeuroDem Toolbox is a practical resource for youth workers, educators, trainers, and organisations working with young people who want to make democratic participation and advocacy more inclusive for neurodivergent youth.
It offers a collection of educational materials on key issues and challenges that may threaten democratic resilience in the areas of digitalisation, sustainability, and equality.
The content and pedagogical approaches were developed in collaboration with youth workers, pedagogues, psychologists, and both neurodivergent and neurotypical young people. The development process was based on surveys and co-design sessions, ensuring that the diverse interests and needs of a heterogeneous target group were reflected as comprehensively as possible.It includes interactive, non-formal learning activities and practical tools to help young people understand democracy, explore their rights, participate in decision-making, and engage in digital activism.
