💡 About the Project
The 'MAKE CARE' project is a training course designed for youth workers, educators, and mentors who are at risk of burnout or seeking to improve their emotional well-being. The project focuses on the concept of 'caring for the carers,' providing participants with the tools and space to reflect on their mental health and professional sustainability.
Using non-formal education, mindfulness, and creative expression, the mobility aims to create a supportive community where youth workers can recharge. Participants will explore different self-care practices, share experiences regarding work-related stress, and develop strategies to maintain their passion and energy in the demanding field of youth work. The setting in rural Latvia provides a peaceful environment conducive to reflection and connection with nature.
