#PRORuralHeritage project came to Romania

Our consortium partners from the Promote Rural Heritage by Youth Workers have come to Bucharest to take part in the first transnational project meeting of the project.

PRIORITY 1PRIORITY 6
KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AND INNOVATIONPROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION, POVERTY REDUCTION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN RURAL AREAS

Expected impact at the local, regional, national and EU levels:
1. Possibility to contribute to the improvement of services for youth and people with disabilities by local, regional and national public and private organizations through innovative methodologies that foster youth participation and social inclusion;

2. The expected long-term impact of the project, at the level of civil society and European policy makers, is to ensure that organizations working with young people and people from disadvantaged groups (in particular people with disabilities) are recognized as innovative educational centers, able to promote social inclusion.

During the first TPM, partners got a chance to get familiar with national situations, brainstorm on the shape of the outputs they wanted to design, discuss dissemination, quality, evaluation and financial aspects, all while getting immersed in Romanian local culture, tasting local dishes, having museum visits and creating a stronger project team by teambuilding activities.

By the end of the two intense working days, partners got home with the feeling that the next steps of the project are clear, they have an action plan for them and they can start impacting local communities and target groups's lives.
