GEYC is partner in a new strategic partnership focused on project management skills

EuroIMPACT Plus KA2 project focuses on promoting high-quality youth work and aims to provide youth workers all the necessary knowledge for the non-profit sector. #EuroIMPACTplus aims to create innovative resources for youth work and equip youth workers with the necessary skills to manage a project in the most efficient way.

EuroIMPACT Plus is a 20 months Strategic Partnership of four non-profit organizations from Bulgaria, Spain, Romania and United Kingdom. In September the representatives of Alternativi International from Bulgaria, Asociacion Projuven from Spain, OpportUNITY from United Kindgom and GEYC from Romania had the kick-off meeting were they were reviewing their roles and responsabilities.

The project will provide, through staff mobility courses and intellectual outputs, useful information for those who are working in the NGO's field.

  • Project duration: June 2017 - January 2019
  • Activities

The intellectual outputs are represented by an e-learning courses that will cover the full cycle of project management and guide that will provide a valuable resources to youth workers and non-profits for an effective project management and having the capacity to appropriately manage EU grant contracts is another set of skills that a youth worker need to have.

As a multiplier event, GEYC will organise a one-day Conference that will be taking place in January 2019 in Bucharest. The impact plus conference will be associated with the final project meeting and will mark project closure, where all outputs (IO1 & IO2), results and impact can be appraised and presented. Key figures will be invited to speak alongside young people and beneficiaries from the programme.

Along these, #EuroIMPACTplus will include two training activities that aim to share best practices, methodologies and to empower the participants to raise their projects impact and to produce a sustainable effect on young people. The first one will be organised by OpportUNITY in Newcastle Upon Tyne in March 2018 and the second one will take place in Bulgaria and it will be hosted by Alternativi International.

The whole process will be updated every seven month in the transnational meeting and regularly on emails and Skype meetings.
