GEYC Community - a good practice example of digital youth work (ESPON Seminar)
Bucharest, 30th of October 2019: The ESPON Seminar on “Shaping the “Next Economy”: The Territorial Dimension of the Future of
Work in Southern Europe” will examine the territorial dimension of labour markets in Southern Europe,
setting forth the need to adopt a place-sensitive approach while broadening the governance
perspective for designing effective policies. Our colleague, Gabriel Brezoiu, will join as an invited expert during the second part of the seminar "Part II: Tackling Youth Unemployment: Is Enough Being Done?" presenting the example of GEYC Community as a digital youth work good practice.EUthwork: Youth Work mapping in Europe
As part of EUthwork Erasmus Plus project we have led a youth work mapping of the youth work conditions and practices in the participating countries: Estonia, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Între 13 și 21 mai 2019 a avut loc cursul de formare „Youth work - a path to peaceful societies” în Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, organizat de partenerii de la Alternativi International, care a abordat tema conflictelor dintre diferite grupuri ale societății și a modalităților de transformare a conflictelor prin acțiuni non-violente.
The mobilities of the KA2 project "International Youth Studies" - That's a wrap!
InYouS project, which started in April 2018, aims to ameliorate the recognition of youth work and non-formal education through development of certified “International youth studies” curricula (and organizing a distance-learning course for youth workers) and open educational materials for European Higher Education Institutions.
The start of the KA2 Partnership "Youth Workers 2.0"!
“Youth Workers 2.0” project will provide guidance and training for youth workers across Europe on how to use ICT tools and digital methods to better deliver basic skills youth education. This will be done through an integrative approach in collecting, sharing and disseminating innovative and inclusive teaching and learning practices using ICT tools and digital methods.
The results of the long-term Training Course -„LET (LearnEducateTeach) meTRY”, Wisła, Poland
In February of 2018, Andreea and Alexandru embarked on an adventure to learn more about the role of a youth worker, non-formal education and to gain key competencies related to conflict management and problem solving. This adventure, called „LET (LearnEducateTeach) meTRY”, came to an end in September. Read more about their experience below.
Youth4Integration: innovative youth work methods in dealing with refugees and migrants
"Youth4Integration" is an Erasmus Plus training course led by EuromedEve Italy together with GEYC with the aim of improving the youth work methods in dealing with refugees and migrants.
The participants in the Training Course "Youth4Integration", which took place in Agrigento, Italy, from 23rd of September to 1st of October, shared their thoughts on the importance of tolerance in today's society.
