After the adventures in Spain for the Job Shadowing project, my EFYL experience continued with a Practice project, this time in Cyprus. However, as exciting as December in Limassol sounds, there was little time to actually enjoy the great weather of Cyprus in winter. But we had, indeed, time for that, especially on our first and second days of the project.

EVS - "Youth4Sport2" Nicosia, Cipru

The European Voluntary Service, project Youth4Sport2, at Nautilos SAR in Nicosia, Cyprus represented a non-formal experience that allowed me to broaden my knowledge and share ideas about healthy lifestyle, sports and youth education. My mobility stage lasted 6 months, from May until October 2017. During this time I had the chance to be part of an adventurous journey in the easternmost part of Europe. 

YE "Celebrate Erasmus" - Agros, Cyprus | #EFYL Job Shadowing

As you by now, the EFYL adventure has continues with another learning experience i.e. the job shadowing. Led by an experienced leader, 4 EFYL trainees have participated at the Youth exchange Celebrate Erasmus which took place in Agros (Cyprus) on 25th august - 2nd September.

TC: „Development of Intercultural Sensitivity” - Limassol, Cipru

When we were in Cyprus we had the amazing opportunity to be surrounded by people from other 9 European countries: Albania, Germany, Malta, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus. By spending plenty of time together with the participants during the training sessions and during the breaks or hang-outs in the evening in the city of Limassol, we found out lots of things about the european values, specific national values and the most important, we managed to discover each countries cultures.

GEYC is selecting 6 Romanian participants, to take part in "I can" European project that will take place in Paralimni, Cyprus between 12-20 December 2016. The main aim of this youth exchange is to to show that all people are capable of participating in sports and that by encouraging people to participate and at least try we can give young people the opportunities to find a sports that is right for them. Call for participants: Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era (8-12 February 2016, Platres, Cyprus)

Future Worlds Center is inviting youth from all over Europe to participate in a global initiative that aims to reinvent a new system of governance by proposing new and innovative actions. The initiative aims to engage youth in both physical and virtual meetings with the first physical meeting taking place in Cyprus in February 2016. The initiative is supported by United Nations Democracy Fund.

Cyprus is calling: 8 Romanians will join our (inter)cultural journey in 2016 [Erasmus+ youth exchange]

GEYC is selecting 8 Romanian participants, to take part in the "Youth in C.R.I.S.I.S." European project that will take place in Agros, Cyprus from 12th to 19th of March 2016. The main aim of the youth exchange is to provide a forum for diverse cultures to come together and have a recognition for similarity and appreciation of difference, foster and encourage personal and social development through interaction on an inter-cultural level, empower young people to be active citizens and have an increased sense of belonging to Europe.
