Inspired by the recent experiences of young people who shared ideas online and then organised events in real life, the "Digital democracy: From e-participation to real influence" workshop aimed to show how participants can use digital tools to raise public awareness and support their cause.

Symposium on youth participation in a digitalised world


For 3 days – 14-16 September 2015 the opportunity of joining the Symposium on Youth Participation in a Digitalized World organized by the EU-CoE youth partnership at the European Youth Centre Budapest has been offered to me and I must confess, that it was an amazing event, that made me realize how strong the connection between youth workers, policy makers and researchers must be, so that the results of future programmes to come up to the needs of young people.

SMARTER Debate:
How can we use social media in our professional life?

GEYC Resources Center team challenged their Facebook members to express their opinion regarding the social networks. The online debate pointed out how social networks could be used by young people in different countries and what benefits do they bring for the professional careers of youngsters.

International School of Young Politicians - ISYP

From 3rd to 8th of July 2013, GEYC participated to International School of Young Politicians organized by AGAT with the financial support of Azerbaijan Youth Foundation under the president of Azerbaijan Republic in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The event gathered participants from 10 countries: Azerbaijan, Romania, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine, Georgia and Turkey in order to exchange ideas, to find out more about the situation in their country and to work on future initiatives.

”For Diversity. Against Discrimination” - an EU campaign

GEYC supports ”For Diversity. Against discrimination” - an European Commission campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness of discrimination and increase understanding of the EU laws which exist to protect us all. It also strives to generate debate on the themes of diversity and discrimination and in particular on how people in Europe stand to gain from greater equality.
