That's a wrap: European Fellowship on Project Management (EFPM)

The European Fellowship on Project Management was a complex programme initiated by GEYC under the framework of EuroIMPACT Plus KA2 Strategic Partnership, aiming to develop the project management skills of young people. Between August 1st and December 31st 2018, 4 young people got involved in various activities that challenged them, but also made them develop their project management skills.

We started with the E-learning stage (August 2018 - Project management essentials and Project management in the Erasmus + programme), which gave the participants a solid theoretical foundation. They put into practice what they have learned, during the Training Course in Bansko, Bulgaria, [EU-189] EuroIMPACT Plus: Training on Project Management, 12.09.2018-18.09.2018.

The most challenging part was, without a doubt, organizing the European Digital Youth Summit 2018, an event held under the patronage of the European Parliament, which gathered over 150 people from 10 countries. What seemed like a huge task at first for the participants came to be a success and a great learning opportunity for our fellows.

During the 5-month programme, our fellows had the opportunity to choose one mobility project that they were most interested in:

  • Alina participated in a Youth Exchange in Marrakech, Morocco, "The revolution will be blogged"
  • Daniela took part in a Training Course in Velbert, Germany, "Game Time"
  • Georgiana was a group leader in a  Youth Exchange in Marrakech, Morocco, "Thé à la menthe"
  • Silvia chose a Training Course in Vienna, Austria, "Social Media for social inclusion"

We would like to thank Alina, Daniela, Georgiana and Silvia for their hard work, enthusiasm and creativity. We are definitely looking forward to the next edition of the European Fellowship on Project Management!
