We are hosting an international delegation in the frame of "The Women Get Back" project

Between 7th and 16th of March, GEYC is hosting in Bucharest a job shadowing in the frame of "The Women Get Back" project (Capacity building, Erasmus+) involving 3 representatives of nongovernmental organisations from Brazil, France (special guest) and Peru.

Job shadowing topics
In the frame of the study visit, we will attend or organize several activities linked to gender equality, equality of chances between men and women, nondiscrimination and methods of re-entering on the labour market after a large period of inactivity (due to illness, maternity leave or unemployment). Moreover, our guests are particularly interested to learn more about the good practices from Romania and the European Union in the fields of counselling, career orientation or training.

Project objective
The overall objective of the project is to transfer to youth workers innovative training methodologies to improve guidance and counselling, vocational and professional training in EU and Latin America for young women returning to work after a hiatus in their careers, as a result of maternity, illness, unemployment, or who are in a situation of self-employment.
