Today, 27th of March we celebrate 99 years since Basarabia (currently Republic of Moldova) decided to unite with the mother country - Romania. To this extent, GEYC publishes its activity report for the first 4 months of implementation of the Strategic Cooperation Programme "Support Moldova" (2016-2018) launched on 31st of August 2016.
Strategic cooperation programme "Support Moldova" (2016-2018)
Context
Strategic cooperation programme "Support Moldova" (2016-2018) aims to support the European course of the Republic of Moldova by supporting key stakeholders and developing soft, hard and transverse skills for young people, NGOs and public authorities.
The program is initiated by GEYC and answers to the following coordinates:
- meets the objectives of the association agreement between Republic of Moldova and the European Union;
- precedes EU Council Presidency of Romania in 2019;
- is circumscribed to the objectives of the Romanian Cooperation Programme for Development (2012-2016), especially regarding the transition to democracy and education;
- it is integrated into the PRISMA European Network strategy.
